Thanks to a birthday gift certificate from Elsbeth, we were able to splurge on some fancy, delicious, organic coffee last week.   It’s even “hand roasted in small batches”! 

One pound of gourmet coffee beans:  $18

Counter-top Espresso Machine:  $50

Fresh Whole Milk:  $3

Fucking up the grinding of the beans on purpose so that you are barred from making cappuccinos and have to let your partner make them every morning:  Priceless.
