Reflections of Prague
Wednesday, October 4th, 2006We spent our last afternoon in Prague enjoying the peaceful views of river. The sandy point of an island in the middle of the river was a relaxing start, but with too many photo opportunities. Two dams create a tranquil pool in the middle of the city, reflecting the historic buildings and creating a perfect space for floating the afternoon away.
Soon the passing paddle boats and row boats had us looking for our own transportation. We found a row boat for a reasonable price, so we set off the circumnavigate the island and float the calm waters. Had we not been so safety conscience, we could have enjoyed a beer while floating on the river.
We finished by watching the sunset reflecting off the water.
